eLOCK Wall Scanners – convenient alternatives in the whole project
In each project or property there are automated applications such as automatic doors, car park barriers, lifts or electronic door buzzers, which are to be triggered / operated by authorised persons in general or at specific times only. The eLOCK range includes wall scanners, with which these applications can be easily combined, and which perform the authorisation checking.
How it works
The user identifies themselves by holding an authorised identifier in front of the wall scanner antenna, the wall scanner control then sends the required releasing signal to the third party application.
The authorisation check takes place in the wall scanner control, which is usually mounted on the protected inside. In this way, manipulations of the electronics can be effectively prevented. Controls with an integrated internal antenna are also available for applications with low security requirements.
eLOCK wall scanner antennas signal availability, access attempts and system messages to the front by means of red, green or blue light signals in a light circuit. They can be integrated in standard project series of the switch range manufacturers: Gira, Merten, Jung and Berker and Siedle intercoms.
