New design accent due to wenge look
System lignum is a high-quality handrail system (Ø 40 mm) made from selected solid wood with finished surfaces for use in corridors and staircases.
The newest handrails in the lignum wood range are made from solid beech and are stained in a wenge colour. We have deliberately not used tropical wood. These handrails can be combined with a choice of different stainless steel supports.
The handrails are made optionally finishing with a 90° curve towards the wall at the end or with a straight end. End curves and bends are also available in polyamide or stainless steel and increase durability where handrails are subjected to particularly frequent and hefty knocks.
The shape of these handrails matches the HEWI hardware systems 111 and 162 in stainless steel. This therefore enables consistent fitout from the lever handle, framed door hardware, handle, window handle, panic bar, signage system through to the handrail.
All handrail elements are produced to the customer's precise specifications and are delivered ready to install.
