2004

75 years of successful corporate history were what the celebrations were all about – the rise of a minor manufacturer of manual agricultural tools through to one of the leading systems suppliers of products for commercial and public buildings. Various activities have been organised in Bad Arolsen for the company’s staff and the trade press in the course of the year.
With its CombiSystem range, HEWI aims to optimise the market for handles in special sizes. In view of the long delivery periods, high equipping costs for the manufacturer and lack of appropriate centre-to-centre sizes in the high-precision millimetre range, the company decided the time was ripe to develop an innovative modular system for stainless steel handles.

2005

The successful barrierfree LifeSystem range is to be enhanced to include 17 new products, thus enabling washbasin, shower and toilet areas to be equipped in full.
At the trade fairs next spring, HEWI will also be presenting its Range 805 – a barrierfree collection of products and accessories featuring the material brushed stainless steel.

2006

In a joint venture well known architectural firms, HEWI initiated a workshop to develop new ideas for sythetic material products.
At the same time a book was published about the history of synthetic materials and where they are used.
