Signage systems

The purpose of a signage system is to help people determine their location in a building, to readily find their way and reach their destination in an unfam-iliar environment.
All HEWI signage systems are made up of a number of interrelated components, which follow a logical		theme and sequence, progressing through the building. They are structured methodically and aid human perception. The various materials and forms allow them to be effectively integrated into the interior and exterior style.

HEWI has developed the new guide signage system to match the lever handle 162 system. Simple, clear, internationally understood pictographs designed by Otl Aicher are used. HEWI uses these pictographs, which are still found in visual communications, for a new, plain and simple signage system with basic square dimensions in polyamide, aluminium and stainless steel.

Surfaces: Natural EV1 aluminium, textured stainless steel

· Optional glued or screwed assembly
· The pictographs for barrier-free areas can be supplemented with Braille and ILIS pyramid lettering
